Photographs can only tell you so much. Spend a morning on the land, walk the escarpment and picture your day where it will actually happen.

Why come and see us

The best way to understand Caoura is to stand on it.

Standing at the edge of the escarpment, with 1,100 acres falling away in front of you, the whole thing makes sense. None of it quite reads on a screen.

Tours run one couple at a time, so there's no showroom and no crowd. Bring your questions, and we'll walk you through everything from ceremony spots to how the weekend runs.

What to expect

A morning on the property.

  • Step inside the Pavilion

Stand in the room where receptions happen and get a feel for the scale of it, the glass, and the way it opens to the escarpment.

  • Walk the ceremony sites

Stand where you'd say your vows: the clifftop above the gorge, or the lawns at the Pavilion. See how the light falls at the hour you'd be marrying.

  • Tour the Homestead

Walk through the on-site accommodation where you and your closest people stay, so you can picture the whole weekend.

  • Talk it all through

Ask about dates, numbers, logistics and what's included. You'll leave with a clear sense of what a Caoura wedding involves, and what it costs.

How a visit works

An hour on the property, led by the people who run it.

Tours run by appointment, usually on weekdays and quieter weekends, and take around an hour. We keep them to one couple at a time, so you'll never be touring behind another group.

We'll take you across the site by vehicle and on foot, so wear something comfortable and bring a jacket. The escarpment runs cooler than Sydney, and the weather is part of the charm.

Good to know

One couple at a time, by appointment

Allow around an hour, and bring whoever's helping you decide. Partners, parents and planners are all welcome.

Can't make it in person?

We'll bring Caoura to you.

If you're planning from interstate or overseas, or simply can't get to Tallong just yet, we're happy to walk you through the property over a video call and send you everything you need.

Either way, the conversation starts the same: tell us a little about the wedding you're imagining, and we'll help you work out whether Caoura is the place for it.
