Caoura Cliffs sits on 4.5 kilometres of Shoalhaven escarpment frontage, a clifftop that drops hundreds of metres to the river winding through the gorge below.
This is the part of the property your guests will talk about long after the day. There is nothing on the horizon but bush, sky and the far wall of the gorge.

The ceremony
A natural amphitheatre above the gorge.
Exchange your vows beneath the open sky, your guests framed against the escarpment. There is no marquee and there are no walls, just timber benches and the drop behind you.
The ceremony site sits high on the escarpment, around 3km from the Pavilion. Your guests travel there and back by bus, timed so the vows land in the golden afternoon light. Prefer to say your vows steps from the reception? Ceremonies can also be held on the lawns at the Pavilion.
The light
Built around golden hour.
The cliffs face the late-afternoon sun, so ceremonies are timed to the light. As the sun lowers, the gorge glows and the whole escarpment turns warm. It is the reason your photographs will look like nowhere else.

First light
Before the day begins, the sunrise.
You wake on the property on the morning of your wedding, and the cliffs are at their stillest just before dawn. It's an easy walk out from the Homestead to watch the sun come up over the gorge, the sky turning from ember to gold, the Shoalhaven catching the first pink light far below.
An unhurried hour that belongs only to the two of you, before the day gathers pace. These are the same cliffs you'll return to that afternoon, to marry in the golden light.
