Automotive

One property for the whole program.

The briefing, the reveal, the drive, the table and the overnight all sit inside one fence line: private farm roads through open country and along the escarpment, a glass Pavilion above the gorge, and a Homestead that sleeps 12.

Exclusive use is standard. For the length of the booking there is no public on the property and no shared sightline, so a car still under embargo can be staged, driven and photographed in private.

On camera the land reads as unmistakably Australian: golden grass, old gums, weathered sandstone and the Shoalhaven gorge falling away below.

What brands use it for

Four shapes a car program takes here.

Launches & media programs

The briefing and reveal inside the Pavilion glass, the range staged on the lawns and terrace, drive time on the private roads, and lunch or dinner at one long table.

Campaign & content shoots

Farm roads, open paddock, escarpment lookouts, the carport and the Pavilion, all reachable within a single shooting day.

Owner & client events

A marque's customers, their cars on the lawn and a long table inside the glass, with the Homestead for the people hosting.

Electric & hybrid launches

EV chargers sit beside the Pavilion, and the Volkswagen Tayron eHybrid shoot used them. Charging for a larger fleet is planned against the program.

Every program is quoted against its brief. Routes, vehicle numbers and timings are confirmed with your producer on a site visit.

Volvo launch cars parked inside the Pavilion at Caoura Cliffs, the escarpment beyond the floor-to-ceiling glass

The Pavilion

A showroom with the gorge behind it.

For the Volvo launch the cars came inside. The Pavilion's floor-to-ceiling glass holds 270° of escarpment, so a vehicle presented inside it is photographed against the country it's being launched into.

The same room carries the rest of the day: briefings, a commercial kitchen and bar, seating for around 120 at dinner, and glass that can take a brand's wordmark along its length.

  • Vehicles presented inside the Pavilion
  • Lawns & terrace for staging the range
  • Branding on the glass
  • Seating for around 120
  • Commercial kitchen & bar
  • AV & Starlink internet

The practical picture

What the property gives a car program.

Private roads
Unsealed farm roads through open country and along the escarpment, all inside the property, with no public traffic. Driving here is on farm roads at low speed; it isn't a track.
Presentation
Vehicles have been presented inside the Pavilion and staged on the lawns and terrace around it. Placement and floor protection are planned on a site visit.
Privacy
Exclusive use on every booking. No other guests, and no public sightlines onto the property.
EV charging
EV chargers beside the Pavilion. Charging for a fleet is planned with you against the program.
Access
Coaches and production vehicles come in to the Pavilion. Vehicle delivery, numbers and routes are walked through with your producer.
Staying on
The Homestead sleeps up to 12, for the brand team, spokespeople or production leads.
Location
Tallong, about two hours from Sydney by road. Bowral is about 45 minutes away, so a Southern Highlands drive loop can finish at the property.
Weather
The Pavilion is all-weather, so the reveal and the table don't depend on the forecast.

Producer questions

Automotive, answered.

Can vehicles be driven on the property?

Yes. The property's private farm roads run through open country and along the escarpment, and Volvo drove its range across them during its launch. Driving is at low speed on farm roads; it isn't a track. Routes and vehicle numbers are agreed with your producer during planning.

Can cars be displayed inside the Pavilion?

Yes. Vehicles have been presented inside the Pavilion and staged on the lawns and terrace around it. Placement, access and floor protection are planned with your production team on a site visit.

Is there EV charging?

There are EV chargers beside the Pavilion, and the Volkswagen Tayron eHybrid campaign shoot used them. For a fleet, charging is planned with you against the program.

Is the property private enough for a car under embargo?

Exclusive use is standard on every booking, so there are no other guests and no public sightlines onto the property while you're here.

Can we brand the Pavilion?

Yes. The Volvo wordmark ran the length of the Pavilion glass during its launch. Branding, installation and removal are agreed with us during planning.

How far is it from Sydney and the Southern Highlands roads?

The property is at Tallong, about two hours from Sydney by road. Bowral is about 45 minutes away, so a public-road drive loop through the Southern Highlands can finish at the property.

Can the brand team stay on site?

Yes. The Homestead sleeps up to 12 people on the property, most often used by the brand team, spokespeople or production leads. For larger groups we can suggest accommodation nearby.

How do we arrange a recce?

Send us the brief through the form on this page and we'll come back to you to arrange a site visit. Recces are walked with us, so your team can see the roads, the Pavilion and the light at the time of day your program runs.
